Austra began with Inese’s idea to bring Latvia’s independent makers together in one place. She is visiting farmers’ markets and small workshops, meeting the people making candles, ceramics, foods and other handmade goods.

Through her lens

Inese is a professional fashion photographer. She will photograph the products herself, alongside portraits of the makers and moments from their workshops. Their pages will share how they work and what matters to them, in their own words.

How it works

You will shop and pay through Austra, and each producer will send their products directly to you. Orders from different producers may arrive separately. Austra will be your point of contact for help with an order.

We are preparing the first collection. The products and photographs currently shown are samples; Inese’s photography will replace them as the makers join us.
